Procedures
The Art of Smiles Dental Group is happy to offer you the following procedures:
- Tooth Colored Fillings
- Fillings that bond to the chemical structure of the tooth so that they do not require any pins or grooves to hold them in place. Not only do they resemble the tooth in color and appearance, but the bonding of the filling returns the tooth to almost that of its original strength.
- Dental Implants

- An artificial tooth root made out of titanium which holds a replacement tooth or bridge. This is the most often recommended method of tooth replacement as it prevents bone recession and stress on the teeth around the area of the missing tooth.
- Crowns
- A tooth-shaped cap that is placed over a tooth to restore its shape, size, strength, and/or appearance. This procedure can be used to hold a cracked tooth together, prevent a weak tooth from breaking, replace a broken or worn-down tooth, to cover a tooth with a large filling, to hold a bridge, to cover discolored or misshapen teeth, or to cover a dental implant.
- Bridges
- To replace a missing tooth, a false tooth fused between two porcelain crowns can be attached to the neighboring teeth.
- Extractions
- Teeth may need to be removed, or extracted when they are broken, cracked, decayed, unsuitable for root canal treatment, affected by advanced gum disease, mal-positioned or nonfunctional (ex. wisdom teeth), or in preparation for orthodontic treatment.
- Gum Disease Treatment

- Root Canals

- This procedure is in cases of severe tooth decay or infection to save the tooth and repair it by removing the pulp, and cleaning and sealing the tooth. The nerve is not necessary for the tooth’s function as it only provides a sensation of hot and cold, and it’s removal will not impede its day-to-day functions.
- Dental Sealants
- Sealants are plastic coatings applied to the grooves on the surface of the back teeth. These coatings act as a barrier and protect the teeth against bacteria that cause decay.
- Teeth Whitening
